About Us

We are a grassroots organization of local riders, businesses, and professionals.  Fat Bike Wood River Valley is a nonprofit corporation, registered with the State of Idaho (501c3 status pending IRS approval as of May 2, 2025).

Our goal is to promote access to and stewardship of trails for fat biking in Blaine County, Idaho and surrounding areas. The organization seeks to expand winter trail use opportunities, educate the public about responsible trail use, collaborate with land managers and community stakeholders, and support programs and events that foster outdoor recreation and healthy lifestyles.

OUR INITIATIVES

• Build a vibrant, inclusive group culture that advances fat biking for all skill levels.
• To be recognized as a user group with specific pricing category on local nordic trails.
• Purchase equipment to create and maintain Fat Bike specific single-track trails.
